Access to the campsite

Coming from the A15 motorway :
Take exit 5 direction Cormeilles-en-Parisis. Continue towards Maisons-Laffitte for 8.6 km (18 minutes). Turn right, rue de la Digue and continue for 1 km. You have reached the Sandaya International Campsite in Maisons Laffitte.
Coming from the A6 motorway :
Take exit 6 towards Palaiseau and then continue on the A13 highway for 25 km (30 minutes). Take exit 6 Versailles and continue towards Maisons Laffitte for 13.6 km (20 minutes). At the end of the road, turn right onto Johnson Street. You have reached the Sandaya International Campsite in Maisons Laffitte.
You are at the Gare de Lyon train station :
Take the RER A which is a direct line and will take you directly to the Maisons-Laffitte campsite. Take RER to Poissy or Cergy-le-Haut and get off at Maisons Laffitte. RER ticket costs €4 35 for an adult and €2 15 for a child (rate recorded on 16/09/15).
You are at Gare St-Lazare train station :
Take a SNCF train to Maisons Laffitte. Check the fares on the SNCF website.
You are at the Gare du Nord train station :
Taxis are available outside the station. For a 40 minutes ride, costs may vary between 30 and 40 euros depending on traffic
You are at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport :
Take the RER B to Massy-Palaiseau. Stop at Châtelet - Les Halles. Then transfer to RER A towards Cergy-le-Haut, to Maisons Laffitte. One same transport ticket for the 1.05hr journey (ticket is valid 1.5 hr with transfers)
To go to Paris :
We recommend you take the RER A at the railway station of MAISONS-LAFFITTE, at a 10 minute walk from the campsite (turn right, at the top of rue Johnson - see on the map page 7). Tickets are for sale at the railway station, at the ticket office or the ticket machine. Depending on your destination in Paris, it will take you between 20 and 40 minutes to get there.
For the way back, you need to take the RER A (in the direction of Poissy or Cergy) and get off at the railway station of "MAISONS-LAFFITTE".
There are various options :
- The single ticket : can be used once, with a possibility to change trains line.
- The carnet: 10 single tickets for the price of 8.
- The mobilis: 1 day ticket (until the last metro/RER); valid for all public transport.
- The navigo : 1 week ticket, valid from Monday to Sunday. 5€ for the card + photo needed.
- Paris Visite : 1 ticket for 3 to 5 following days, including reductions in some monuments and museums.
Please note: the single ticket is not valid for the return trip.
No special « family » ticket available. We recommend this ticket to go to Disneyland.
The tickets need to be used depending on the distance to be crossed, following a zone system.
Paris and most of the tourist attractions are situated in zone 1.
Maisons-Laffitte is situated in zone 4. To get from Maisons- Laffitte to Paris, you need to buy a ticket going from zone 1 to zone 4.
To travel within Paris, a ticket for zone 1 is enough. To go to Disneyland Paris, you need a ticket going from zone 1 to zone 5.
From 23 July to 21 August 2016 included, works are planned on the RER A line. Replacement lines will be put in place to guarantee your journeys.
During the day, an RER leaves for Paris approximately every fifteen minutes. The first departure is at about 5.30 AM and the last train goes back at about 00.30 AM (from Paris). Maps of the metro network of Paris are available at the railway station.
Children aged between 3 and 11 years old travel for half the price.
Dogs and bicycles are allowed on the RER line A, under certain conditions. www.ratp.fr

Castle of VersaillesCastle of Versailles
The palace of the King of the Sun consists of several buildings that can be visited: the central body with the King's State Apartments, the Grand Queen apartment, and the Hall of Mirrors, but also the Petit and Grand Trianon, and the Hameau de la Reine. The park extends over 700 hectares of which 93 hectares of gardens. Tickets available directly at your campsite. Closed on monday (with supplement).
