Camping Soulac Festival of the Sea

It all begins with the traditional church service celebrated in the Notre-Dame Basilica, from which the procession, accompanied by the “bandas” and their rousing music, then heads off to the beach. This is when all the fun starts: games, entertainment for all the family and demonstrations out on the waves are held throughout the day. A veritable celebration of the sea that forms an integral part of the scenery in Soulac-sur-Mer.

As night falls, all eyes turn to the sky as the traditional firework display is launched from the central beach. Finally, it’s time to don your evening finery for the grand dance that brings the event to a fitting end. What a day! Fortunately, cosy beds await you nearby for a well-deserved rest at your favourite campsite!
