Amongst the innumerable activities that you can enjoy at Labenne, there is one that the kids are going to love: a visit to the Labenne zoo.
In the heart of the forest, this 5ha zoo is waiting to welcome you and the whole family as you discover its 200 animals from all around the world. As you explore, you’ll come across adorable wolf cubs, magnificent flamingos and funny goats that the children are free to pet in the zoo’s mini farm. A picnic under the cork oaks makes the perfect moment for a delicious break before heading off to meet even rarer animals, some of which are unique in France!

Calling all those in search of a romantic moment steeped in tranquillity, far away from the everyday, we’ve found you a haven of peace for a stroll hand-in-hand. Head for the Orx marshes and their 800 hectares of untamed nature!
A listed nature reserve, these wetlands offer a wonderful walk of about 2½ hours around the Marais Barrage. Set off from the Maison Béziers visitor centre. Freely accessible, the discovery trail will immerse you in the heart of this incredible protected area to observe its flora and fauna from close quarters: herons, storks, seagulls, coypu... Keep quiet and out of sight but, above all, keep your eyes wide open!
