Camping The TransVerdon

Seasoned cyclist or mere spectator, the TransVerdon race follows one of the great long-distance cycling routes in France, leading you through the heart of the wild scenery of the Verdon Natural Regional Park, from the Allos Pass to Gréoux-les-Bains. Competitors, whether timed or not, will be able to test their endurance as they soak up all the beauty of the area. Along the way the different sections alternate between technical and fun, passing through some of the most emblematic landscapes of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence: the Gorges du Verdon, the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the lavender fields of the Valensole Plateau... The TransVerdon rewards as much as it tests!

In the heart of this green Provence, make the most of the very special location offered by your Sandaya campsite at the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon to cheer the cyclists, on the starting line, as they cross the finishing line or anywhere in between. And if you’re an experienced mountain-biker why not put your name down for the race, before treating yourself to a few days of well-deserved rest in our haven of peace and tranquillity!
