Dating back an incredible 2,000 years, Arlon has a host of fascinating tales to tell! So let its famous archaeological museum recount times gone by as you enjoy an educational trip with all the family.
During the visit, you’ll be able to admire the museum’s impressive sculpture gallery, home to works that show what life was like in Arlon during the first 3 centuries AD. You’ll also be able to discover a remarkable collection of antique craftwork that illustrates all the expertise of the artisans of the time. Once you’ve quenched your thirst for knowledge it’s time to take the road back to the campsite: a hearty dinner awaits you at the restaurant for the best possible end to the day!

In the province of Luxembourg, the forests and valleys stretch as far as the eye can see. And the landscapes around Arlon are no exception! For a truly romantic visit, opt for green tourism in the heart of the Attert Valley Natural Park, to the north of Arlon. Its superb hiking trails make for a great excursion on foot, by bike or even in a horse-drawn carriage. Our favourite route? The Remarkable Trees circuit in the Attert Valley, there’s no better way to lose yourselves in the heart of nature.
Once you’ve returned to civilisation, take a stroll hand-in-hand through the narrow streets of Arlon: from Place Léopold to Saint-Martin’s church via the age-old district of Saint-Donat, you won’t be able to resist its authentic charm!
