To see and do in Brussels

Take the road from your campsite to the heart of the Belgian capital and you certainly won’t be disappointed by the journey! In a city bustling with life, we’ve put together a programme for you that combines leisure, discovery and relaxation. First stop during your trip to Brussels: a visit to one of the many museums for which the city is renowned, notably the famous Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium or perhaps the Magritte museum, to immerse yourself in the surrealist art movement. Then make your way to the Grand-Place de Bruxelles, described by Victor Hugo as the “most beautiful square in the world”, not forgetting of course to pause in front of the Manneken-Pis statue that has become the veritable emblem of Brussels. After a mouthwatering break opposite the majestic guildhalls or “houses of the corporations”, stroll through the Saint-Hubert shopping arcades where boutiques and bookshops invite you to take home a souvenir of your holiday in Brussels. Still a little time left before returning to your campsite? Make the most of it to admire the Atomium in the northern area of the city and enjoy a refreshing green walk through the Parc du Cinquantenaire next to the Parlamentarium!
