Valencia, the perfect holiday destination!

Bienvenido a Valencia! This attractive and modern city is a perfect blend of history, nature and cultural vibrancy. As Spain's third-largest city, it has quickly become a hit among holidaymakers seeking a sunny seaside destination. It has to be said that it has a great deal going for it: a typically Spanish way of life, a rich heritage, mouthwatering gastronomy and the Mediterranean as its neighbour. In short, Valencia embodies all the charms of Spain, and that's why holidaymakers love it so much!

Your Sandaya campsite in the Valencian region is not only the perfect base for exploring this beautiful sun-drenched region, it also offers all the essentials for a successful camping holiday: a water park, children's clubs, comfortable accommodation and spacious pitches. Simple and effective for the greatest pleasure of all!

Visit Valencia with the family

Valencia is the perfect destination for families. It's a place where you can expand your knowledge, be dazzled, have fun and treat yourself - what a selection! The sites not to be missed include the Church of San Nicolás de Bari and the Church of San Pedro Mártir, known as the Sistine Chapel of Valencia, the Turia urban park, the largest in Europe, and the aquarium, where you can see plenty of amusing marine animals in action. Of course there is much more to choose from to suit everyone's tastes!

Another place that shouldn't be missed, especially for your little ones, is the City of Arts and Sciences. This imposing futuristic complex, listed by UNESCO, features various buildings housing art museums, an interactive science museum, a cinema, an aquarium (the largest in Europe!) and a planetarium, among other things. It's guaranteed to keep your little tribe entertained for hours!

Visit Valencia as a couple

Explore the city hand in hand with your other half. Start your day with a visit to the central market, the meeting place for gourmets, with its mouth-watering aromas. You can even stop off and enjoy some tapas. Once you've had your fill, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the Turia urban park, one of the largest in Europe, before taking a seat at a terrace to enjoy the mild Valencian nights.

On the following day, venture beyond Valencia for a few hours to explore the hidden gems of the surrounding area. The first stop will be the Albufera and Serra Calderona natural parks for a hike, then on to Dénia and Gandia, seaside towns where you can savour delectable and incredibly fresh seafood! Where to next? Some rest and relaxation on one of the beaches by the sea where you can enjoy the refreshing blue waters and round off this romantic day in style!
