The Île de Bréhat, an unmissable port of call during your holiday

If the Île de Bréhat is considered one of Brittany’s most beautiful islands, it’s certainly not by chance: a world away from the everyday and totally unspoilt, this “island of flowers” is a veritable corner of paradise! It may only take a few minutes by boat to reach it from Paimpol, but it has plenty of surprises in store for you during your stay in Brittany.

And for the rest of your holiday? Kick back and enjoy the good life on a 4 or 5 star campsite on the shores of the English Channel! In a fully-equipped mobile home, under the canvas of a tent or in your campervan, come for a stay on the Côte de Granit Rose, where Brittany dons its most beautiful colours! And to make the most of an impressive range of activities, head for the multisports ground, the vast water park with covered swimming pool and waterslides or the free children’s clubs where plenty of new campsite friends await!

Visit the Île de Bréhat with the family

After a great breakfast at the campsite, it’s time to set off for the L’Arcouest headland or the Trestraou beach and an unforgettable family trip to the Île de Bréhat! And with no motorised transport allowed on the island it’s the perfect opportunity to rent a bike with the family and pedal away to discover the most beautiful corners of the island!

To the south, wend your way through the pretty little alleyways of the picturesque village with its hydrangeas, agaves and mimosas. Take time out to stop off at the Birlot tidal mill, one of the most attractive in Brittany, before taking a delicious break on the terrace of a crêperie!

Visit the Île de Bréhat as a couple

After a flower-filled stroll through the narrow streets of the southern island, head across the Pont ar Prat, the bridge built by Vauban that leads to the northern island. Here the wild green landscape offers more than a passing resemblance to that of the Irish countryside. Where better to get away from the rest of the world!

On foot or by bike, take your time to explore as you head to the Le Rosédo and Le Paon lighthouses standing proudly on their mounds of pink granite. Facing out across the English Channel, settle yourselves comfortably in one of the small rocky creeks to enjoy a romantic picnic, just the two of you. The perfect moment to sample all those fabulous local specialities!
