Whether you’re staying in a fully-equipped mobile home, under the canvas of a tent or in the comfort of your own campervan, you’ll be free to enjoy the campsite’s wide range of leisure and activities: bathing area with waterslides, petanque courts and multisports ground, bike hire... and not forgetting the free children’s clubs dedicated to your little campers!

With its enchanting shows, spacious setting and innumerable animals from all 4 corners of the world, the La Palmyre Zoo never fails to amaze children of every age. Begin the day with a quick visit to the campsite mini-market to stock up on all you need for your picnic, then it’s off for an adventure!

And once you arrive, keep your eyes wide open: after calling on the tigers, lions and ostriches, it’s time to watch the incredible show put on by the sea-lions or the parrots, always the children’s favourite moment! Presented twice a day between the Easter holidays and early November, it offers a fabulous way to end your visit. And after all that, why not enjoy a final dip in the ocean before returning to the campsite?

After a sunny morning on the beach or your private terrace, come and make the most of the sublime setting of the most popular zoo in the Charente-Maritime. With its pine-fringed visitor trail measuring some 4km, you’ll have all the time in the world to enjoy a leisurely stroll and stop off in the prettiest corners of the park.

One of the unmissable spots to visit during your day at the zoo: the visitor gallery offering a panoramic view over the Ape Space where the gorillas, orangutans and chimpanzees proudly roam! One last photo for the album in front of the zoo waterfall, then it’s time to head back to the campsite where a great dinner awaits you on the restaurant terrace!
