Tournaments of Viking games, axe-throwing demonstrations, discovering the professions and trades of yesteryear... History truly comes to life in the Ornavik Park near Caen, a veritable invitation to travel through time, back to the era when Normandy first came into being!

And to ensure the illusion couldn’t be more realistic, a whole village has been reconstituted in a 10 hectare park cut off from our modern-day world. Viking camp, farms, forge, bread oven, you’ll have an opportunity to discover the authentic medieval buildings in the company of the craftsmen, farmers and shopkeepers of the time. Learning history has never been so fascinating!
