Visit Maupertus-sur-Mer with your family
In the Cotentin, whether your kids are keen on sport or just want to have fun, a thousand and one adventures await! Start with a visit to the Ludiver planetarium. They’ll have stars in their eyes as all the secrets of space are revealed to them. Then touch back down on Earth and take your tribe to Forest Adventure, a tree-top adventure park where they can swing and climb like Tarzan and Jane, whatever their age and ability!
Another idea for a family outing is the Saint-Martin animal park, 15 hectares where birds, monkeys, raccoons, wolves and dromedaries live side by side. Take your little campers on safari... in the heart of Normandy!
Visit Maupertus-sur-Mer as a couple
With its architectural heritage and rolling green landscapes, the Cotentin is certainly romantic. And when we say romantic, you no doubt think of châteaux! Dewy-eyed young lovers will love strolling through the gardens of the Château de Carneville, with the 17th-century mansion as their backdrop. Is this France or have you slipped into a Jane Austen novel? Perhaps it’s a bit of both...
In any case, wandering through such a wonderful setting certainly whets the appetite! And that’s not a problem because Cotentin and Normandy are renowned for their gastronomy and local produce. There is something for every taste and appetite, from cider and cheese brioche to seafood and more! Enough to make your mouth water and set your taste buds tingling with every bite. Pull up a chair and tuck in!
