Nez de Jobourg, the ideal holiday destination!

Nez de Jobourg embraces the horizon from the tip of Goury to Cape Flamanville, with Jersey in the background when the weather is clear. It forms a breathtaking panorama but is also a protected natural area that is home to some exceptional flora and fauna. In all weathers and in all seasons, Nez de Jobourg leaves visitors in awe.

When visiting the Cotentin with your family, friends or special someone, choose one of our Sandaya campsites. Every detail is covered to keep campers of every age happy: comfortable accommodation, free children’s clubs, daytime and evening activities and, of course, the star of the campsites, the water park, adored by little swimmers!

Visit Nez de Jobourg with the family

To explore the Cotentin with your family, start with a bike ride. During your lovely two-wheel escapade, you’ll pass through a series of pretty hamlets with typical stone houses beautifully decked in colourful flowers, just like something from a picture postcard. You’re sure to be spellbound!

Next for your family day out is a visit to the hidden caves with magical names such as the lion cave and the fairy hole. Legend has it that centuries ago, they were hiding places for smugglers. It doesn’t matter whether it’s true or not – your little treasures will love pretending to be explorers, and you will too!

Visit Nez de Jobourg as a couple

One of the most popular activities at Nez de Jobourg is hiking. And what wonderful hiking opportunities there are! Couples who love rambling can follow a portion of the “Customs Path”, the famous GR 223 trail. During your walk, you can feast your eyes on the gorgeous coastal landscapes. A sporty activity that will do body and soul a world of good – sounds perfect, right?

And as a reward for your efforts, indulge in the outstanding gastronomy of the Manche and the Cotentin. Whether you prefer a picnic in the open air or a meal in a typical restaurant, there is plenty to set your tastebuds tingling! Which is unsurprising as this is cider country and a land of sweet-tasting delicacies and extra-fresh seafood!
