Cabourg, the ideal holiday destination!

This summer, come and take a journey back in time in Cabourg, an authentic Normandy resort which has lost none of its yesteryear charm! Between Caen and Deauville, Cabourg and its famous Grand Hotel used to be the favoured holiday destination of the Parisian upper classes. And that's no surprise: with its long, fine sand beach beside the Channel, its neo-Norman villas and flower-filled parks, Cabourg is a feast for the senses, for the whole family!

To enjoy it all summer long, come and experience the comfort of a 4 or 5 star campsite, and stay on a traditional pitch or in a fully equipped mobile home. And as a change from the beach, come and use our covered and heated swimming pools whenever you feel like it; the water's always at the perfect temperature! And for those of you who feel like inhaling some deep breaths of fresh sea air, there are all sorts of outdoor activities to enjoy at Sandaya campsites: multisports ground, archery, boulodromes, tennis, plus playgrounds for smaller holidaymakers. Each to his own!

Visit Cabourg with the family

In Cabourg, a 4 km long fine sand beach awaits you and your family for enjoying your summer holidays right beside the water! From the famous pedestrianised Marcel Proust promenade, Europe's longest, Cabourg's emblematic beach huts make up part of the decor, alongside sand yachts, kitesurfs and catamarans.

And after the beach, head for the town's flower-filled gardens for a bit of shade. Aquilon Park is a children's paradise, and is bound to be a hit! Not far from the seafront, it is home to various playgrounds for all age groups. And in summer, it also hosts shows in its outdoor theatre!

Visit Cabourg as a couple

Cabourg is romantic to the bone, and abounds with walking alternatives for couples! The most famous is the Marcel Proust, which takes you straight to the Méridien de l’Amour, a unique artwork where you'll be able to declare your love in 104 languages!

Then you'll be able to experience the Belle Époque as you take the villas circuit between the Dives Estuary and Cabourg beach. Mosaics, timber framing, ceramics, multi-coloured buildings etc. Every house makes for a genuine work of art to come and discover! And you can round off the day by watching the lovely sunset over the Channel, a feast for the eyes that is renowned throughout Normandy!
