Try each in turn with the family and pick your favourite! Top of the list; discover the Fort-Bloqué beach, shared between Ploemeur and Guidel, and its sublime view of the fortress of the same name. At low tide you can reach it on foot for a close-up view of its impressive fortifications!
To appreciate all the picturesque charm of Ploemeur, head for the port of Lomener with its little beach below. Particularly convenient when you want to sip a refreshing drink on a café terrace and keep an eye on the kids at the same time!

The seaside resort of Ploemeur abounds with enchanting creeks and circular routes that you’ll love exploring during your campsite stay together, just the two of you. First stop on your Breton getaway: the little Le Pérello beach, a natural jewel fringed by cliffs and lush greenery. With white sand and sparkling water it becomes even more magical as the sun slips over the horizon!
But there are plenty of other possibilities for a romantic excursion à deux: keen cyclists won’t want to miss the Les Kaolins green way that links Ploemeur and Lorient, whilst others may prefer to head for the port of Lomener to simply gaze out over the beauty of the ocean.
