Camping Guidel: book your stay

Guidel, the ideal holiday destination!

More intimate to the north, perfect for bathing to the south, Guidel has so much to offer its visitors. On the border between the Morbihan and the Finistère, Guidel lies on the banks of the Laïta, the river born in Quimperlé that forms the superb ria immortalised by the painters from the Pont-Aven school. To the south, its shores are lined by 5km of sandy beaches, the realm of families and all who love a holiday with their toes in the water. Head for our campsite in southern Brittany and enjoy life in every shade of colour!

Just a step away from the ocean, a tranquil stay awaits you on a Sandaya campsite near Guidel, land of rias, picturesque ports and sublime seaside walks. Book one of our fully-equipped cottages or sample the delights of a real outdoor holiday on our camping pitches. Then you’ll be free to make the most of a stay at your own pace: sports activities, bathing in the covered and heated swimming pool, dance lessons... So many amazing moments to make your holiday totally unforgettable!

Visit Guidel with the family

After a morning spent in the campsite’s swimming pools, how about a bathing session with a salty tang? Swimsuit neatly packed in your bicycle basket, then off to Guidel-Plages with the family! La Falaise, Le Bas-Pouldu or Pen er Malo beach: all are ideal for families and lifeguarded in summer. Fancy admiring the surfers and their acrobatics? Head for the Le Loch beach!

And since Guidel has the advantage of lying on a riverbank as well as enjoying a long maritime façade, why not stop off on the banks of the Laïta for a perfect end to the day. You’ll even be able to hire a canoe, paddleboard or kayak and treat yourselves to a fabulous trip all the way downstream to the ocean!

Visit Guidel as a couple

In addition to its coastline fringed by dunes and creeks, Guidel displays its more confidential and bucolic side nearer the town. So how about taking a long romantic walk to discover the hidden treasures of Guidel? Follow us!

Leaving from the neighbouring municipality of Clohars-Carnoët, take the Saint-Maurice bridge that links the Finistère and the Morbihan. Then follow along the wooded banks of the Laïta where hundred year-old trees offer their refreshing shade, more than welcome on a summer’s day. Once you’ve reached Guidel-Plages, carry on to the Le Loch nature reserve, an officially-listed remarkable site in Brittany. Herons, cormorants, tree frogs and ponies share the landscape; see how many you can spot along the way before heading back to the campsite!
