Justly re-named “Tahiti Beach” by the locals, its lagoons have all the beauty of a Polynesian paradise. In Pont-Aven the landscape is even more beautiful when you explore it together, just the two of you! So why not treat yourselves to a romantic boat trip on the River Aven? Down at the harbour, hop aboard the motor launch and admire the scenery as it slips gently past. From châteaux to cottages, their gardens brimming with flowers, it’s hardly surprising the artists found Pont-Aven so inspiring!
On your return to dry land, walk in the footsteps of Gauguin, founder of the famous Pont-Aven school.
