Just 15 minutes off-shore from Cannes, take a trip to the delicious Lérins Islands, two fabulous beauty spots in the Mediterranean. Sainte-Marguerite never fails to enchant with its woodlands and its creeks bathed by turquoise water, whilst the even more secretive Saint-Honorat is home to a rich historical heritage.

As soon as you land, Fort Royal, an age-old fortress standing high above the sea, draws all eyes. Today it is home to the Museum of the Sea and its impressive archaeological collection. But what the children prefer above all are the aquariums in the Méditerranoscope area, a chance to observe the underwater life found in the waters around the Lérins Islands! Still a little time left before catching the boat back again? Take a walk around the Étang du Batéguier and discover the pretty creeks that await you for a picnic or a spot of bathing with the family!

Fancy a change from the sandy beaches of the seashore, a chance to lose yourselves in the midst of nature at its most unspoilt, all alone, just the two of you? Then it’s time to set off for a romantic trip to the Lérins Islands!

First port of call: the island of Sainte-Marguerite and its forest that exudes the scent of pine trees and eucalyptus. A true voyage for the senses! Gradually the trees are replaced by a coastline etched with small wild creeks, each bathed by the transparent waters of the Mediterranean. Our favourites: the Le Portet and Le Four creeks to the south, offering a breathtaking view of the island of Saint-Honorat!
