Born at the same time as Sète itself, in the 17th century, the Fêtes de la Saint-Louis form an intrinsic part of the heritage of this famous port in Languedoc. During 5 days, Sète puts its time-honoured water jousting firmly in the spotlight with the events held on the Royal Canal and watched by thousands of spectators.
To the sound of the traditional drums and oboes, the tournament is launched! And don’t miss an opportunity to watch the famous Traversée de Sète à la Nage swimming competition or enjoy the sublimely delicious Sète “tielles” on a restaurant terrace.
