Picnics, lazing in the sun, building sandcastles or simply strolling with your feet in the water, there'll be no shortage of activities to enjoy all day long, here on the beach with the family!
When the sun gets too hot, discover the bliss of diving into the gentle waves of the Mediterranean: the water’s always lovely! Your little adventurers will even be able to try out the watersports of their choice: fun-tubing, SUP, jet skiing... And to make the most of that precious family time, why not hire a boat for the day, with or without license!

In addition to its long sandy beach, Vendres has plenty of other cards up its sleeve to ensure you have a truly great holiday down on the Languedoc coast. What better than listening to the peace and quiet as you wander through the countryside? Slip into the shoes of a naturalist for a stroll arm-in-arm along the shores of the Étang de Vendres. One of the largest lagoons in Languedoc-Roussillon, it is even home to a few special residents such as herons and bitterns that you may be lucky enough to spot during your walk.
Then off to Grau de Vendres, and treat yourself to a delectable break in the charming Port du Chichoulet as you sample the local shellfish. All that remains now is to follow the banks of the Aude as far as the beach, for one last dip before returning to the campsite!
