With the Bay of Bourgneuf on one side and the market town of Noirmoutier-en-l’île on the other, and all really close to the Atlantic coast, there's no doubt about it: you really are at the harbour of Le Bonhomme! Small in scale and barely 500 metres across, this location is nevertheless the largest oyster-farming harbour onthe Ile de Noirmoutier. Crossed through by the cycle path along the sea wall, get on that bike and set off to meet the people who harvest the oysters on the Ile de Noirmoutier. Here, you'll find a few little huts dotted around, which are just the place to enjoy the day's harvest! And when you've had your fill, you can go up to the sea wall and enjoy an amazing view over the entrance to the harbour of the Ile de Noirmoutier, Les Sableaux beach and the lighthouse of La Pointe des Dames.
