Camping The Bois de la Chaise regattas at Noirmoutier

A veritable tradition at Noirmoutier-en-l’Île, each year the Bois de la Chaise regattas brings together some 80 sailing vessels and no less than 20,000 spectators, all in the sublime setting of the Les Dames beach on the island’s north-eastern coast. Comfortably settled on the sand, follow the races over the weekend and admire the replica period sailing ships as they mingle with traditional yachts.

The beach is also the perfect spot to enjoy, free of charge and with all the family, a host of varied activities and entertainment during the weekend: concerts, treasure hunt, fireworks, woodwork and rope workshops, exhibitions... In fact all you need to earn your diploma as an apprentice seadog, and store away plenty of fabulous memories of your camping stay on the island of Noirmoutier!
