Visit Challans with the family
The Salt Route is a great activity for you and your clan. Set off to explore the enchanting marshland of the Marais Breton-Vendéen by bike, on foot or in a canoe. You will be won over by the sheer tranquillity and beauty of this fascinating environment. You can also discover the Vendée on a small train – another excellent idea for a family outing, and sure to be a hit with your little campers!
Afterwards, head for the Passage du Gois causeway area, where holidaymakers of every age can learn all about fishing on foot, and the related techniques and regulations. After all that excitement, head for one of the superb Vendée beaches where you can splash around, have fun and collect seashells to take home as souvenirs of a lovely family holiday on the Atlantic coast.
