Visit La Roche-Bernard with the family
If La Roche-Bernard is largely known for the promenades and panoramas of its old town, something tells us that the kids will love discovering it from a different angle: why not from down on the water during a boat trip with the family?
Set your heading for La Roche-Bernard’s authentic little port ready for a cruise on the River Vilaine. Thanks to the Arzal dam, the river is now free from tidal restrictions making it perfect for an outing. All you have to do is choose your favourite form of transport: canoe, electric boat or standup paddleboard? And if the sun is playing hide and seek, take the children off to discover the busy life of the bees in the fascinating Maison de l’Abeille, sitting snugly against the cliffside!
Visit La Roche-Bernard as a couple
La Roche-Bernard is without contest your perfect ally for a romantic holiday as its narrow streets beckon you to linger and capture the moment with a souvenir photo. Head for the upper town where the most sublime panoramas await!
Take the Route de Guérande to reach the famous Rocher, the rock for which the town is named, flanked by its two period canons. You couldn’t dream of a more beautiful view over the harbour! And after that all-essential break in a crêperie, it’s time to head for the Pont du Morbihan. The arch beneath the bridge’s main carriageway is in fact a surprising footbridge that offers a breathtaking view over the surrounding scenery!
