Come and spend a holiday right at the water’s edge at a Sandaya campsite on the Île de Ré! With direct access to the island’s most beautiful beach, the Sandaya Amis de la Plage campsite invites you to enjoy a wonderful moment out of time, just off the coast from La Rochelle. Swap the car for a bike and head off to wander the beaches, forests and salt marshes. The irresistible Île de Ré has so many wonders in store for you!

The campsite and its surroundings

At the Sandaya Amis de la Plage campsite, enjoy a central location ideal for exploring all the island’s treasures. From the seaside resort of Bois-Plage, home to the largest market on the Île-de-Ré, follow the ocean shore to Ars-en-Ré, an officially-listed Most Beautiful Village of France. Set your heading for the east, and wend your way through the salt marshes of Loix, before losing yourself in the grandiose panorama offered from the top of the Les Baleines lighthouse. It may be known as “Ré la Blanche” but the island is far from all white, at each step let it reveal a vibrant new colour from its vast palette!
