Camping Vagnas: our handy tips for a successful stay

Dolmens are not only found in Brittany! When out and about in the Ardèche, discover the one in Champagnac which dates back to 3,000 years BC.

Did you know? Vagnas enjoyed a golden age in the 19th century, most notably thanks to sericulture, or silkworm farming. There is even a museum devoted to this in Lagorce – why not stop by for a visit?

The Ardèche is also a wine-growing area that amateur or more experienced oenologists will enjoy exploring. The ideal programme? A vineyard tour followed by a tasting session. Heaven!

Hiking enthusiasts, take the path from Monastier, a 7.6-km circuit that will take you past the ruins of Monastier priory, the monks’ washhouse and the valley of the Rieusset stream.
